Health and Wellness

The Islesboro Community Center houses a state-of-the-art fitness center for its island members. With affordable prices and excellent equipment it is a wonderful place to work out. We are also lucky to have a fully certified Yoga instructor on our board who offers in-person classes twice a week, right in community hall. Other exciting offerings include Ecstatic Dance, Senior Fitness, and an array of talented therapists show-cased on our fitness page (link below) who bring acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy to Islesboro.

The ICC also houses annual dental and pet clinics thanks to the Islesboro Community Fund and an anonymous donor. This gives our islanders an opportunity for teeth cleanings and vet visits without having to leave on the ferry!

Keep your eyes peeled for healthy event offerings throughout the year! Our annual Turkey Trot comes to mind as over 50 people came out in 2023!
