After School Clubs

The Islesboro Community Center cares about our developing youth. During the school year we offer various activities such as dance classes, music lessons, arts and crafts, and theater after school in our kids zone.  We provide support and encouragement in a safe environment.

During the summer another entity utilizes our space by offering an Adventure Camp from June-August! This collaboration provides our community members with a daily childcare service during many of their busiest months. We have recently started a summer internship program and in return for a stipend, our older youth give their time and energy to support several of our routine offerings. They receive responsibility under direct guidelines and in this way are able to gain independence (plus a little bit of money) while enhancing our center.
